Deceptive images that show things that are not really there at all. Our brain wants to attribute meaning to images anyway, and if it recognises a pattern it has seen before, it tries to associate it with it. So it may be that a car that has been involved in an accident looks to us as if it has just been set on fire, not to mention that we want to see faces in everything. The brain is a funny thing, isn’t it? 🙂
