There are many hotel competitions around the world, with awards for the best design, service and even the best restaurants. So we decided to create our own nomination – “For the most creative hotels”. And we want you to be part of the jury with us.
We love finding creative solutions to different problems and this time we’ve found examples of how hotels are surprising their guests.
“This is the toilet brush in my hotel”
When you want to surprise your guests:
“Tide is available at the vending machine in my hotel.”
“My hotel has 2 rolls of toilet paper, each going in a different direction.”
“The hotel I stayed at used to be a bank. They turned the safe into a bar!
“My hotel also had exit signs near the floor, presumably if you climb on the floor in case of fire, don’t breathe in the smoke.”
The Europa Park Hotel in Germany has a small children’s bathroom in the bathroom.
“This is the welcome towel in my hotel.”
“The hotel shower arm shows the temperature of the water.”
“The pillows in my hotel room are marked for firmness.”
“The hotel bathroom signs try to discourage it.”
The hotel room number is on the floor.
“The sewing kit at my hotel has the thread pre-threaded into the needle.”
“Last time I was in Las Vegas, I ran out of towels. I told the housekeeping staff that I would tip a dollar for every extra towel in my room.”
“In my hotel in Odessa (Ukraine), the elevator tells me what day it is because they change the carpet every day.”
