Although pregnancy can be challenging, 56% of pregnant women continue to work full-time. Other mothers-to-be either ask for fewer hours or choose to leave their jobs temporarily. Celebrities are no exception and many of them choose to continue their careers while expecting a baby
1. Adriana Lima
In April 2022, while expecting her third child, Adriana Lima returned to the catwalk and showed off her growing belly. The 40-year-old supermodel walked at an Alexander Wang fashion show and showed off her belly.
2. Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez announced she was pregnant with twins while on tour with then-husband Marc Anthony. Before that she performed at several other concerts, showing off her baby bump and leaving fans guessing. The singer was also one of the presenters at Movies Rock later that year.
3. Beyoncé
Also pregnant with twins, Beyoncé performed at the 2017 Grammy Awards while her daughter and husband watched from the audience. Speaking later about her performance, the pop star iconically said, “You can’t contain women like her”.
4 Halle Berry
Although Halle Berry admitted that filming X-Men: Days of Future Past was a challenge, the actress refused to quit the production. The franchise’s creators adapted to her changing character and filmed most of her scenes earlier, while also making some changes to Storm’s role.
5. Naomi Watts
Naomi Watts found out she was pregnant early on in the filming of Eastern Promises and tried to hide it from her co-stars and cast members. Until the costume designer realised that the actress could no longer fit into her clothes. The film’s producers were sympathetic to the situation and Watts continued filming as the midwife.

Throughout most of her three pregnancies, the Duchess continued to attend royal engagements. Although she struggled with severe pregnancy vomiting over the years and had to cancel some public events, Kate always tried her best to make an appearance and often showed off her tummy in public.
7 Christina Aguilera
While she was expecting her second child in 2014, Christina Aguilera performed one of her songs while pregnant. The singer continued to work on her new album during her pregnancy.
8th Serena Williams
The tennis player found out she was pregnant shortly before the start of the 2017 Australian Open. Instead of withdrawing, Serena Williams won the tournament at 8 weeks pregnant.
9th Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington, who played Olivia Pope on Scandal for 6 years, had to hide her pregnancy during the filming of season 6. The crew did a great job of hiding the actress’ growing belly “behind flowers, Prada bags, big coats and capes”, so the script didn’t need to be changed.
10 Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot is another actress who had to hide her pregnancy for her most famous role. Gadot shot some scenes for Wonder Woman while she was 5 months pregnant with her second daughter, Maya. The crew covered her baby bump with a green cloth so it could be cut out of the film later.
